Preparing for Your New Puppy🐾

    A new puppy can be a drastic change for both the owner and the puppy.  We have a few tips to help ease the transition!!

We recommend that you purchase a small sized wire crate for your puppy to sleep in at night and while you are away at work, ect. A smaller sized kennel is recommended to help with the potty training process. Therefore, if you are away at work during the day, you can expect accidents until they reach adulthood. 

We also recommend that you purchase a chew toy and possibly stuffed animal.  The puppies are used to being around one another at night and having a playmate during the day.  

As for puppy food, for the first few weeks, we start puppies on Purina Puppy Chow. Please check to see what type of food they are on before you pick up your puppy. A sudden change in diet can be upsetting to the puppy and also will cause diarrhea.
